Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Faisla collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Who we are

Faisla (faisla.ai) is a product of Surevish Technologies Private Limited ("Faisla", "we"). Our official WhatsApp number is +91 88008 84231. For any privacy question or grievance, write to himanshu@faisla.ai.

2. Information we collect

What you give us

Details you share to make your Faisla, such as your name, what you make and a link to your work.
Your WhatsApp number, name and messages when you join the early access waitlist, and your email if you choose to share it.
The needs you tell us and the answers you get when you use a Faisla.
Ratings, comments and requests you send.
Account details if you sign in.
If you are a creator or business, the content you publish on Faisla.

What we collect as you use Faisla

How you use Faisla, such as the pages you view and the buttons you tap, and basic information about your device and browser. We use cookies for this (section 6).

3. How we use it

To provide Faisla: make your Faisla, give you your own answers, and keep your place on the waitlist.
To talk to you: reply to you, tell you when your invite is ready and send early access updates. Tell us on WhatsApp or by email to stop the updates.
To improve Faisla: understand what works and build a better product and experience.
To keep Faisla safe: prevent abuse and fraud, and meet our legal duties.

We use your information with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or where the law otherwise allows it.

4. Your needs stay with Faisla

The needs you tell us are personal. We never sell them or share them with third parties. We de-identify needs data, so it can't be tied back to you, before we use it beyond your own answers. Only Faisla uses it, to build a better product and experience.

Creators and businesses never see who answered what. At most, they see de-identified totals.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We share it only:

with trusted providers who help us run Faisla, who act only on our instructions and may not use it for anything else;
when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people and of Faisla;
if Faisla's business changes hands, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Links on Faisla may take you to other sites, such as stores. Their own policies apply there.

6. Cookies

We use our own cookies to keep you signed in, remember your answers and understand how Faisla is used. We don't use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time.

7. How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. After that we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. If a breach is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the authorities, as the law requires.

9. Where it is processed

Your information is stored in India and may be processed in other countries to run Faisla, always with the same protection and as Indian law allows.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

show you the information we hold about you;
correct or complete it;
delete it, or stop using it by withdrawing consent;
let someone you nominate act for you.

Write to himanshu@faisla.ai. We reply within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. In the EEA or UK, you also have your rights under the GDPR.

11. Children

Faisla is for people aged 18 and over. If a minor has shared information with us, we delete it.

12. Changes

We will post any change here with a new date, and tell you before a significant change takes effect. See also our Terms of use.
